Cardamom Honey Glazed Ham

Ingredients:
For the Ham:
1 fully cooked, bone-in ham (about 8 to 10 pounds)
Whole cloves (optional, for studding the ham)
For the Glaze:
1 cup honey
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons ground cardamom
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 orange, zest and juice
Instructions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). If the ham is not pre-sliced, score the ham in a diamond pattern, and if desired, stud with cloves.
Prepare the Glaze: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, brown sugar, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, mustard, orange zest, and orange juice. Stir until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is smooth.
Initial Baking: Place the ham on a rack in a roasting pan. Cover with foil and bake for about 1 1/2 hours.
Glaze the Ham: Remove the ham from the oven and increase the oven temperature to 400°F (204°C). Brush the ham generously with the glaze. Return to the oven and bake uncovered for an additional 30 minutes, glazing every 10 minutes.
Rest and Serve: Let the ham rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm with extra glaze on the side.
